This species was found on flowers of Malvaceae weeds, commonly called wild stockrose. Due to the increased cotton production we also collect any insects on the wild Malvaceae species in case such species later turn out to be a pest on cotton.

No vernacular names were recorded.

The pest status is unknown.

Distribution:

Only observed at Mahenene Research Station, Omusati region.

Description:

The beetles are bright red with black markings. The legs are black and quite long.

Control:

No control is recommended
