country and cotton stainers may become more common as the cotton area increases. |
Distribution:

Cotton stainers have been observed
in cotton fields during year 2000 at Ondobe and Omundaungilo, both in Ohangwena
region. Most likely, they will turn up wherever cotton is grown. |
Description:

The stainer seems to turn up rather
late in the season when cotton bolls begin to open. |

the pest status of cotton stainer has been established. |
