Green beetle
Namibian crop pests  #  101

unknown Order:  Family:

Note: Due to an expected increase in cotton production in Northern Namibia, all insects found on cotton or other Malvaceae plants are recorded and collected as if they were pests. Many beetles are attracted to these yellow flowers and are therefore included. Most likely, many of them will turn out to be harmless pollen eaters.
