PEST STATUS
C. phalerata is very common on flowers of legumes. It is widespread
in Oshana and Omusati regions. In the dry season, when legume crops are
not available, C. phalerata is often found on flowers of creeping
weeds in the grassland. The pest status is unknown.
DESCRIPTION
C. phalerata is 9 mm in length. The beetle is black
with conspicuous orange stripes along the back.
